St David’s Day Celebrations
St David’s Day is always a fun day in the life of nursery with the children enjoying the chance to celebrate Welsh culture and dress up in traditional welsh outfits. Other activities included chopping up veg to make Cawl in the home corner, getting messy with flour and raisins to mix the ingredients for Welsh cakes, singing Welsh songs, learning Welsh words, eating Cawl for lunch, free-paintings local castles and dragon collages.
Overall it was an amazing day and one we look forward to celebrating again next year!!
